In the corner of southern Nevada, close to the borders of California and Arizona, Las Vegas is a little city known as the Entertainment Capital of the World. Every year millions of tourists flock to this destination because of the unlimited number of things they can do around town. According to the LVCVA’s tourism indicators report, more than 2.6 million people visited Vegas in February 2022, and that’s only one month out of an entire year!
In Las Vegas, there’s so much to do, and the list just keeps getting longer and longer as more venues keep opening up every year. Whether you’re interested in seeing a live concert, trying your luck out in a luxury casino, or dining at celebrity chef restaurants – Las Vegas has it all! If you’re ready to find out more, here are three of the best entertainment venues in Las Vegas.
1. Caesars Palace
Caesars Palace stands out on the Strip as one of the most iconic total entertainment destinations. If you love watching live concert performances, visit the Coliseum, which is known as the “Home of the Greatest Entertainers in the World.” The name is fitting as it has hosted concerts from numerous music legends, including Madonna, Celine Dion, Elton John, Cher, Mariah Carey, and Adele.
If you’re ready to meet Lady Luck, this is also the place to be! Caesars Palace has one of the most underrated Las Vegas poker rooms as compared to others in the City. It’s located directly in the heart of the gaming floor, which is a beautiful 4,500-square-foot area to make sure players have plenty of elbow room when sitting at the felt. If you want to go shopping, take a stroll through The Forum Shops, and you’ll find upscale boutiques like Burberry, Gucci, and Rolex, among others.
2. Bellagio
The Bellagio is a landmark of the city famous for its iconic signature attraction – the Fountains of Bellagio, a spectacular water fountain that amazingly dances to the beat of the music. When it comes to the world’s most exceptional cuisine, Bellagio has restaurants led by many celebrity chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Michael Mina, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, just to name a few.
Of course, the world-renowned poker room at Bellagio features 40 tables and two high-limit areas. If you’re a fan of movies, this casino has been seen in movies like Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Thirteen. For those that love shopping, Bellagio has some of the most luxurious fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermes. Bellagio is indeed the pinnacle of luxury!
3. Mandalay Bay
All hotels on the Strip have a swimming pool, but none compare to Mandalay Bay’s world-famous 11-acre pool area with 2,700 tons of real sand and a 1.6-million-gallon wave pool. Truthfully, it’s not a pool — the entire area is referred to as Mandalay Bay Beach, which is a bit more accurate! The aquatic playground has dipping pools, hot tubs, and a lazy river to just float in. This place gets packed during the summer months, so it may be a good idea to get there early and reserve a cabana or a bungalow that’s complete with refrigerators and ceiling fans.
If you want some live entertainment, Mandalay Bay has the Michelob ULTRA Arena, which is an entertainment complex that has hosted headline events like the UFC, Katy Perry, and the Latin GRAMMY Awards. After the show, dine at one of their world-class restaurants – for fine Wine-Inspired American Cuisine, try Aureole, or for an amazing modern steak feast at STRIPSTEAK. There’s nowhere else like Mandalay Bay in Vegas!
There are so many great places in Vegas, and trying to narrow it down is difficult. Try these places out and experience the best entertainment Vegas has to offer. You’re in Vegas, so hold nothing back and go all-in!
